TCI Powder Coatings Expands to Accommodate Growth

New office spaces, new improvements, and new career opportunities! TCI Powder Coatings excitedly anticipates the opening of our new office located in Americus, GA this month. The addition will be located just a short distance away from Ellaville yet create some big change. Our Ellaville office will remain fully operational. The new Americus facility will kick-start expected growth of our laboratory and training facilities, sample product preparation, light warehousing, as well as innovative solutions and increased customer service.

“This addition allows us to accommodate the steady growth of our business,” and “In the near future, we will be able to add laboratory and training facilities as well as sample product preparation and light warehousing in the new facility,” stated Doug Greene, the President of TCI Powder Coatings. Not only will this facility foster company growth, but it will also contribute to increased employment within the Americus community. It is estimated that the office will be able to accommodate up to 75 full-time employees.

Barbara Grogan, Executive Director of the Payroll Development Authority, supports the economic development, stating “Growth of long-term companies such as TCI Powder Coatings is a great benefit to Sumter County, particularly in their ability to hire locally from our existing workforce.” She complemented TCI, noting that the company “has been in the region for many years and has an outstanding reputation, providing a positive work environment for citizens and a product that is used by many industries worldwide.”

Fabtech 2019

Fabtech is always an exciting and electrifying show, and this year in Chicago was no different. The event attendees totaled over 48,000 from 95 different countries. TCI utilized the same booth we did last year, a 20’ x 20’ space with graphics highlighting our values: innovation, service and performance, and also our 7 core markets. This year we brought TCI product literature such as stock color cards, case studies and RAL Decks. We also used this opportunity to launch our new high-performance FenceCoat Gen II platform and highlighted it with various fence parts coated in popular architectural colors. Other powder coated parts we displayed included domes and speed shapes. The bright colors and variety of textures on these pieces brought much attention and people were intrigued by all the options that powder coatings can offer.
